Started for us this time at The Yorkshire Sculpture Park. So much culture, so much sculpture. Dropped in there on the way up north going up on the bike this time. Met Richard and Aud and we wandered around a while and saw a few of the views. Drop in there if you’ve got time to spare. It’s free, vast and very pretty. You can compare Henry Moores with Emly Moor.

We stayed in the Holiday Inn again and firstly rendezvoused with Phil (who had been to Nigeria). We just about made it to the chip shop in time but were forced to eat the stuff on the wall outside as the tables were closing. We spotted Dave walking past. Hey, small world Dave. He’s un retired himself and earning vast, vast, vast amounts of cash working 4 days a week for E.ON. (Yea, Dave’s your bitch E.ON). He’s taking flying lessons. Head in the clouds that man.

Up to the Should of Lamb – dressed up as Mutton looking like Lamb. Then they started to arrive. I can’t remember the order. Alan and Sue – aint seen you for a long time Sue. Kev – now you’re supposed to be working, Kev! Chris and Macky – still not sure about that spelling, Makky.

So after all this time we still made it in to double figures and I guess that means we’ll have to do it again. We had a relaxed chat about what we are all doing and who knows what. Nice time, guys. Nice feel this year.

Headed up to the Bees as always and had the inevitable few pints and curry at the Westgate. Nearly – very nearly got a taxi back to the hotel, but we managed the walk.

Rode across to East Yorkshire to see my mum. Then a Zen ride back home with lots of stops Laid on the grass watching the coach spotters at Leicester Forest East. Bliss.
